Biography
Furlo are a 5 piece from Derry/Limavady, they are a band with with a gritty sonic exuberance armed with the ability to captivate and lift, made all the more real by their dynamic animated live sets. Interior design may not be a strong point as their guitar players living room looks more like a stage set up in an intimate venue but this is testament to their sheer dedication getting their blend of guitars, keys, drums & infectious vocals just right ! Since their formation in the summer of 2006, they have forged a path in the music scene via their first EP 'CONCUSSED GIRLS'. This self-release gained the band much respect from critics and press alike. 2010 seen the release of their 2nd EP 'SIGNATURE' which received airplay support from national BBC Radio and local stations alike. The band finished the year off by signing with Belfast Indie Label 'Yogen Records'. It's been their busiest year with debut single 'YOUR ENTIRE GLOW'S' gaining popularity on youtube and then releasing there second single 'LO-HI as the theme song for The NW200 and also working hard towards the completion of their debut album only to come up for air playing select shows and festivals in the UK & Ireland.... They will be heading into the studio in December to start pre-production.... roll on 2012!
